Peace dream of love

Description:

Participation of the 8th Dim. Palaio Faliro in the “Make it heard” 2023 competition with the theme: “The new generation for Peace”.
The students read poetry and literature about Peace. Then they discussed about it and proceeded to express their feelings and thoughts through their own drawings. The song lyrics were inspired by their ideas and were eventually composed and sung.

snow flower,
the first bright ray
happy sunrise.

Crystal spring water
of eternal life,
you are the children’s laughter
and the trills of the birds.

Peace that you remained silent,
the recipe of heaven
your scent is gone
through human passions.

Peace! the time has come
For all evil to die,

The breath of happiness,
A mother’s arms,
every child’s prayer,
the honey of heaven.

At home, love, warmth,
Joy, all together
the white dove
flies free.
