The Life of PEACE

Description:

This song was created by four 10-year old students of the GC School of Careers Elementary. Propelled by the ‘Youth for Peace’ theme, Kristie Stylianou, Maria Pissarides, Olivia Chiromeridou and Sophia Stephanou wanted to put forward an inspiring message of hope and resilience.

The song never lingers on all that is wrong with the world today, but focuses on how the new generation can bring about positive change towards peace and freedom. The lyrics, written by the four girls themselves, remind us of our shared humanity, while the music, composed and recorded with the help of our school’s music teacher, Marios Skentos, adds an uplifting tempo and serves as a call to action.
