War or Peace?

Lives are lost at war.
Cities are laid to waste.
Voices are silenced.
Schools are torn down.
Playgrounds are deserted.

ENOUGH!

I condemn the war so as to be awoken
by my alarm clock and not by sirens of war.
I act for Peace.
Because, in times of peace, hope flourishes
like a flower day by day.
People shake hands.
Everything is so beautiful, so joyous.
I can feel the freedom in the wind.
I can dream of a world full of colors and melodies.
I can be myself without any fear.

I act for Peace TODAY.
I claim for myself a peaceful and just tomorrow!
