PEACE, LEAD THE HEART HIGH UP

Description:

Following the revolution by the Iranian women and men against the violation of human rights, the students of the 4th Class of Vassilies Primary School, along with their teacher, Evdoxia Klisarhaki, felt the need to raise their voice in order to protest and support the Iranian children by writing the poem “Peace, lead the heart high up”
The score of the song was composed and performed by the musician of the school, Themistoklis Kritikos, and recorded in the hospitable studio of the 1st Workshop Centre of Iraklion by Stergios Hahlakis. Our English teacher, Eirini Gratsia, contributed with her accordion accompaniment and our school’s Art teacher, Katerina Androulaki designed the poster of the song.
We would like to thank the headmistress, Maria Zervou, and the teaching staff of our school, whose support and encouragement always lead us high up!

The children in Iran are sad
