Production: Waltz to a War

Description:

Once those we trust with power abuse it, we turn to a song and we remember one thing: ”They may have won the battle, but the war isn’t over”.
Composed and Performed by Evanthia Ektoros
Orchestration: Nikos Evangelou (Music Teacher)

Verse 1:
You should know better, than to stab a slave in the back.
Their business and work are a life’s worth of an arc.

Verse 2:
You told us it’s easy to throw them all out and leave.
Isn’t than funny? Disposing those you can’t beat.

Refrain:
Isn’t your karma an interesting thing?
Possessive or over expectant the line is so thin…
When your subjects cave are you willing to just let it go?
Maybe you should just enslave the fools you don’t know.

Bridge:
Now they call you ”traitor” all those who called you ”king”.
And as I left your side now, I trust in their belief.
I served you for months then, without a prize or goal,
I used to be dependent, but now I’m better on my own.

Refrain:
Isn’t your karma an interesting thing…
