When you are a child you embrace people around you with an open mind and heart! Playing, communicating, loving and dreaming are the greatest values for all the children! For the last 3 years, the coronavirus pandemic has been stealing our children ‘s dreams, enclaving their carefree and their innocence. The mutated love and the enclaved peace motivated the children of the D2 class of Agia Napa Primary School to write lyrics and sing for an alternative journey!
The reference point of the song is «Τhe air balloοn» that gives the chance to live the journey and at the same time live in «a better world»! The sculpture «Αnothen Fotisis», that adorns the school entrance from the beginning of this school year, was the inspiration. The beauty and the magic of our world that seems to be lost in our days, comes alive in the air balloοn and is animated in the fluttering of a bird!! The air balloοn is the power, the idea, that allows the listener to travel with the creator, away from all that deface our lives. Just like a bird can fly high, choosing its path in the blue sky and in the endless coloθrs of the nature!!
Τhe composer of the song is Andreas Karaiskos and the lyricists the students of the D2 Class. Apart from the composer, another student of the 6th grade class, Gabriel Reno, as well as some other D2 Class students, also contributed to the orchestration. The song was recorded to a studio.The responsible teacher for the whole effort is Miranda Markou Kraniotaki.
