-This school proudly carries the name Ivan Gundulić, the great Croatian baroque poet who emphasized liberty as one of the greatest values of human life. The school is situated in beautiful Dubrovnik. Apart from the central school in the city of Dubrovnik, it has 3 more branch schools: one on the island of Koločep and two on the island of Šipan. The school is very big with 841 students that are led through their process of growing up and studying by 69 teachers and with the support of all the other school employees. Ivan Gundulić Primary School is proud of having the special education classes with partial integration for students with special needs.
