Christmas traditions and songs – 2nd Primary School of Sidirokastro

Have you ever wondered how carols sound like in China or Argentina, Canada or Peru?
The students of 6th grade of the 2nd Primary School of Sidirokastro, presents traditions from different parts of the world. You will also hear traditional songs from those regions.
The show was prepared by the students as part of the music lesson, along with music teacher Dimitra Parri-Nika, in purpose of getting to know traditional music from other cultures, but also to investigate the relationship and role of traditional Christmas songs in the formation of Christmas traditions.
