The word “journey” during the pandemic period we’ve been going through has acquired a special meaning for our school. All the children of our school have travelled and are travelling in unique ways, interacting with other students from all over the world through collaborations that we have sought. We created e-twinning programs and collaborated with European schools,(Cyprus, Ireland, Poland, the Greek school in London), with schools on other continents (Japan, Tanzania, India, Zanzibar, Uganda), with schools of the UNESCO ASPnet network. All the children and their teachers have been travelling mind and soul through these collaborations. We have met different cultures, yet discovered common values and common concerns. The song we participate with in the competition is inspired by these trips. And so we continue to travel with… “Love to be the map in our hearts…”
