Production: “The music of all of us!”

Description:

” Our music, your music, the music of all of us” ! A song by Fourth grade’s students, of the Primary Experimetal School of Thessaloniki’s University.
The song was inspired based on some of the Greek War Heroes’ attributes, unity, enthousiasm, devotion to a shared goal, attributes that helped Greece initiate and continue the Greek War of Independence of 1821, which led to the Nation’s freedom, protected and kept its Ideals of Faith and dedication to one’s fatherland, alive. Unity, enthousiasm and devotion to the shared goal of creating a song together helped our schools’ fourth grade students embrace this effort. The idea was conceived by Kerasia, during one of our music classes, when we were talking about music’s attribute to unite people, make them smile, move them or even cure them. She composed her own words and melody, which were embraced by her fellow students, who learned, sang and played musical instruments to accompany the song. The experience of working together towards a shared a goal gave the class a chance to see their progress through rehearsals and experience the result of their united efforts. Poster design by Nikol, Grigoris and Emy!

The words:
“If you become a musician, the sky will shine and you will have magical friendships, strong and eternal! When you sing, everyone will be looking at you, applaud and take off their hat to you! Music is a magical word, that everyone deserves to share. Music makes you happy, music moves you, music cures you. When we all sing, people will be looking at us, applauding, and we will have magical friendships, strong and eternal. Our music, your music, the music of all of us!”
