We are becoming one with the nature, we embrace our planet

Description:

The students of ENEΕGΥL in Rhodes inspired by their island’s environment are discussing about the extinction of the dama-dama, a rare species of deer, unique in Greece. Children are transforming in deers expressing their agony of the environmental destruction and the increasing extinction of wild animals and plants. The students have empathy regarding the fear and danger of the animals, they are becoming one with the nature and they are yelling to humans to be alert and to protect our beautiful planet. This project was the result of children’s ideas and collaboration. Teachers helped, guided and stood by the students during their collaboration. Teachers also helped with the technical support of the radio message. Finally, students created a poster inspires by their thoughts, feeling and imagination about the protection of nature.
