Britpop of the ‘90s

In this show we will make a small tribute to the British pop music of the 90’s, listening to songs from various bands of that period.
Britpop appeared in the United Kingdom, emerging from independent music of the early 1990s, based on bands influenced by British pop music of the 1960s and 1970s, in which guitar use was strong. The lyrics refer to purely British issues and concerns. Although the most popular bands have achieved worldwide success, especially in the United States, the movement declined by the end of the decade.
