I sit and think about my future
How to correct other people’s mistakes that remain on us

destroying other people’s lives because of greed and selfishness
Now it seems easy
But it won’t be like that in our future

can’t we live freely, in peace?
When we are the only ones left in the world
Adults will forget,
But it will be their fault,
We have to live with their consequences

And when only I remain
And when it’s all up to me
What then?
How will we bear their burden
How will we correct their mistakes
And when they ask us for forgiveness, what will we tell them?

Time passes and peace does not come
The end is not in sight

How long do we have to stay on this battlefield?
How long do we have to fight for peace so that we can lead a carefree life

A futile fight for justice when the world will be destroyed by someone again
And how long will the prayer last
And I believe that we will be calm
And free
And happy and satisfied and righteous

There is always light at the end of the tunnel,
But this one hides a lot of roads
Who will we blame if our future is destroyed

You always have to try, do your best
Everyone always told me, but they didn’t listen to their own advice

I fall asleep at midnight
I can’t close my eyes
I wonder how my life will turn out

Voices in your head that tell you where to go and what to do,
And you don’t listen to them because you can’t trust anyone anymore

They tell you to be positive, look on the bright side, but the government has us in the palm of its hand
They trample our dreams and leave us without a single path

When I look in front of me, I don’t see a clear path, is my life in vain

Strangers pass by me,
People I thought I knew are leaving
Life brings new defeats

When the sun starts to shine outside, I will look through the window
And they will give me hope, but will we succeed?

But don’t just shout ‘and the youth shall inherit the world’
Now you have to do something too
