Podcast: Song of a Fallen Kingdom

“Song of a Fallen Kingdom”

Words that hurt and pictures that scream
Flags are waving in the wind.
Boundaries that lie and nobody hears
people almost blind from tears.
Sometimes I hear a song deep inside
voices that once used to cry
Wind of change hasn’t blown yet
and we’re still singing with regret.

Longing for the peace of the world
For the truth that no one sees anymore
Agony and fear comes after
Who gives the children back their father?

Longing for the peace of the world
For the truth that no one sees anymore
Agony and fear comes after
Who gives the children back their laughter?

Fire and blood and echoes of pain
A mother’s waiting in the rain
When all’s said and done and no one has won
we’re left with steaming empty guns
I know that this will not be the end
cause history will just ascent
I still can hear the song about a kingdom
the one that taught me about freedom.

Longing for the peace of the world
For the truth that no one sees anymore
Agony and fear comes after
Who gives the children back their mother?

Longing for the peace of the world
For the truth that no one sees anymore
Agony and fear comes after
Who gives the children back their laughter?
