Primary school “Viktor Car Emin” is located in a small town of Lovran, situated on the eastern coast of Istrian peninsula, by the northern Adriatic Sea in Croatia.
Lovran is named after the laurel tree, which grows in the local area. The town is also famous for its large and sweet chestnuts (called “marun”) and juicy Lovran cherries.
The school’s choir is called “Lovran’s Little Cherries”.
Our primary school is named after the very famous, locally born, Croatian writer – Viktor Car Emin. There are 382 students and 64 staff members. It is a modernly equipped educational institution where teachers, students and parents and are committed to providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
