Description:
Our school is located in a residential area on the outskirts of the city of Valladolid, Spain.
We have around 400 students between primary and pre-school and there is a staff of 28 teachers. We are very much into active learning and the use of motivational methodologies. The most important proyects we are working on schoolwide at the moment are :
-Use and developement of ICT in the learning-teaching process.
-Participation of all the school community in our school radio : “Onda Sapiens”
– Aquisition of the knowledge and practice for the students to grow vegetables and fruits in our own green garden.
-Development of learning in nature activities.
-Creation of reading corners all around the school and promotion of the use of the library by all the school community.
-Participation in a proyect with the ESA (European Space Agency)
-Development and promotion of healthy habits (good food and exercise) .
-Participation in two European proyects : “Plastic free schools” and “E-safety”.
