The stars started dancing

Description:

Participation of the 3rd Gymnasium of Maroussi in the contest “Kanto nakoustei” 2018 with the song “The stars started dancing” that composed members of the cultural program “Wandering in tradition” inspired by the traditional dances and the starry sky, aiming to imaginatively depict the importance of the intangible cultural heritage in the era of globalization, thus contributing to the perpetuation and preservation of folk tradition. In the song, the personalized constellations (Orion, Ursa, Pleiades, Venus, Andromeda) dance the traditional Greek dances of kalamatianos, antikristos, ballos, pendozalis, zeibekiko and they manage to unite the sky with the earth, the universe with the man, the matter with the spirit, the present with the past, tradition with eternity.
