Production: Holding on to hope
Description:
On the occasion of the title of this year’s competition, the students of Platykampos Gymnasium and Lyceum of Larissa created the song
“Holding on to hope”
You should count you blessings
you dont see the things i see
those scary men in green
thats my song of sorrow
and im singing as they fight
the huge doves in the sky
and now, we ‘re into the uknown
we sail in paper boats
the canvas painted scarlet
and i’m, im holding on to hope
but we’re left all alone
our paper boat ‘s the target
my aching soul
is all your fault
a wound in salt
your darkest dreams
your filthy sins
rob me of peace
but you should know
i wont let go cause i am strong
we will resist
our genesis
let it begin
its in your hands people,
cause you power’s like a storm,
to change our broken world
turn guns into roses
turn bombs into fireworks
turn gunshots into songs
show us, the path when we are lost
repair our paper boats
the canvas can be whitened
yeah you, you’re filling us with hope
dont make us feel alone
instead lets be united
we are the world
we gotta hurl
the escaping rope
this is our song
of peace and hope
eternal love
