Ilissos the sacred river that had dozens of temples and sanctuaries on its banks … on its banks inhabited by Nymphs and the Athenian citizens were walking. Ilissos the sacred river “buried and turned into a dark underground drain, with thousands of cubic meters of cement and thousands of cars passing over it. We want to shout loudly: Let the river Ilissos come to light.
