The Melody of Peace

There was a picture on the wall
which showed a miserable city
Envy and hatred prevailed everywhere
And the people were depressed

Suddenly there was a light
People’s malevolence disappeared
Everybody joined their hands
And threw away knives and machine guns

That very moment the land calmed
People’s soul became peaceful
And everybody shouted in a loud voice
That Peace made everybody powerful
