We celebrate the Veria’s Carnival

The show presents in the first part the customs of the Carnival of Veria utilizing the material of the Digital Folklore Museum of the Music School of Veria that refers to the Carnival while in the second part is presented the concert of the traditional music ensemble of the Music School of Veria entitled “Songs and purposes Veria. ”This concert was presented on February 18, 2015 in the hall of the Antoniadeion House of Letters and Arts of the Municipality of Veria and was accompanied by excerpts from short stories by Veri writer and folklorist Stelios Svarnopoulos. The teachers of the Music School, Koutsimanis Iordanis and Baliakas Giannis, were responsible for the preparation and teaching of the songs.

The show is an action of the Digital Folklore Museum of the Music School of Veria in collaboration with the traditional music ensemble of our school.
