World Radio Day 2019

13 February is World Radio Day, a day to celebrate radio as a medium to improve international cooperation between broadcasters and to encourage major networks and community radio alike to promote access to information, freedom of expression and gender equality over the airwaves.
This year was celebrated the theme of “Dialogue, Tolerance and Peace” and the Young Journalists dedicated their radio show talking about different religions, people with disabilities and different types of sexuality.
The project is supported by UNICEF Europe & Central Asia with funding from the European Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid Operations – ECHO.
